Old Mint

2 oz Baller American Single Malt Whiskey

1/2 oz mint syrup

3 dashes chocolate bitters

To make mint syrup: Combine 1 cup water, 1 cup mint, and 1 cup refined sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then continue heating until the mixture is just under a boil. Turn off the heat and let it steep for 30 minutes. Strain, bottle, and store refrigerated until ready to use. To make cocktail: Stir all ingredients together in a mixing glass filled with ice until thoroughly chilled. Serve on a large ice cube and garnish with fresh mint.
