California Creamsicle

2 oz St. George California Citrus Vodka

1/2 oz fresh orange juice

1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

1/2 oz simple syrup

1 egg white

Barspoon vanilla extract

If you enjoy the sweet one-two punch of orange and vanilla in a creamsicle, here it is in liquid format. This recipe starts as a classic gin sour, but the orange juice and vanilla give it all the flavor of the iconic frozen confection, while the egg white adds the body needed to recreate the feel of an ice cream pop. To make it, add all ingredients to your cocktail tins (no ice) and dry shake for ten seconds, breaking up and incorporating the egg white. Now separate the tins, fill the larger one 3/4 full of ice and shake again to chill. Strain into a tumbler over a large cube of ice and garnish with an orange wheel.
