2 oz St. George Botanivore Gin
2 oz tomato juice
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
dash or two hot sauce
dash or two Worchestershire Sauce
The Snapper is the Bloody Mary’s less famous, more flavorful sibling. By simply substituting gin for vodka, the drink takes on extra dimension. We love Botanivore in a Snapper. The recipe brings out its caraway, cilantro and dill seed to delicious effect. Making a Snapper can be as easy as putting everything in a glass full of ice and giving it a quick stir, but if you want a truly luxurious mouthfeel, you can use a bartending technique called “throwing.” Add all ingredients to a short tin, fill 3/4 full with ice, then pour back and forth between the short and tall tin 10 times to chill. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Garnish as extravagantly as you like. You can bring out your favorite notes in Botanivore by using herbs from its botanical bill.
