July Journey through American Single Malt Whiskey

This tour and tasting experience is offered at 2pm on select Sundays, with reservations available to book 60 days in advance.

American single malt whiskey was officially recognized as its own spirits category at the start of 2025, but we began laying down barrels back in 1996 and released Lot 1 of St. George Single Malt Whiskey in 2000.

This tour and tasting experience is a wonderful opportunity to learn about our pioneering role in the American single malt whiskey movement, what makes our whiskey program exceptional, and why we’ve earned a spot in the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame. After a walk through our production floor and barrel stacks, we’ll gather in master distiller Lance Winters' private printmaking studio to taste a flight of distinctive single malts.

While the menu is subject to change, our current offerings are:

-Baller American Single Malt Whiskey

-St. George Single Malt Whiskey, Lot 23

-St. George Single Malt Whiskey, Lot 24

-St. George Export Edition Single Malt Whiskey

-St. George Single Malt Whiskey, 40th Anniversary Edition

This experience includes a $10 discount in our retail store for purchases over $35.

Please note:

This experience is for guests aged 21 and older. A valid ID is required to participate.

California law limits distilleries to serving a maximum of 1 1/2 oz of distilled spirits per guest per day. To comply with California law while allowing guests to taste various spirits, we will serve four 1/4 oz samples and one 1/2 oz sample totaling 1 1/2 oz.

No outside food is permitted inside the distillery.

Non-drinkers have a choice of non-alcoholic beverage.
