We've managed to keep this exciting news under wraps until now...but we're thrilled to announce the release of Ruthless, a long-in-the-works collaboration with our friends at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

Sierra Nevada has brewed much of the wash for our Lot series of St. George Single Malt Whiskey since the late 1990s. In honor of our close relationship, we wanted to explore what it would be like to distill one of Sierra Nevada's most beloved beers: Ruthless Rye IPA.

Distilled and laid down in new American oak and used French oak port casks back in 2013, Ruthless also incorporates some of the very first barrel of Single Malt Whiskey that was brewed for us by Sierra Nevada back in 1997 and aged in used bourbon cask.

We've been patiently waiting to share the resulting whiskey for what feels like forever, and that day is finally upon us: This Saturday, December 18, we'll be opening our bottle shop doors at 11am with 1,000 bottles of Ruthless available to purchase. There'll be a cap of two bottles of Ruthless per person—first come, first served until 3pm, or until sold out!

St. George master distiller Lance Winters, head distiller/blender Dave Smith, and Sierra Nevada founder Ken Grossman will all be here to sign bottles and talk shop–and we'll also have Baller Single Malt Whiskey, Spiced Pear Liqueur, Terroir Gin, and other spirits available for purchase. (But not Lot 21—y'all cleared us out on December 4!)

We're over the moon to finally be able to share Ruthless with you, and look forward to seeing everyone able to join us this Saturday for this very special release day.
