This year marks Lance's 20th anniversary here at the distillery! When St. George founder Jörg Rupf hired Lance back in 1996, the plan was to try things out for a month-long trial period. Two decades later, we'd say that things worked out pretty well for everyone. The big 2-0 was also marked by a very special present from the James Beard Foundation—a JBFA nomination for Lance in the category of Outstanding Beer, Wine, or Spirits Professional. Congratulations, Lance, and thank you from all of us for pouring your heart and soul into the distillery for the past 20 years!
