Remember how we swore we'd never make an agave spirit again? Oops, we're doing it again. There's a movement afoot to grow agave here in California—led by "Mezcalifornia" evangelist Craig Reynolds. When we had the opportunity to get involved with Craig and some of the farmers he's joined forces with, we jumped at it. We did a test run of California agave a few years ago that showed proof of concept. This year, we've brought in another small batch of agave that was grown and pit roasted in Yolo County. We'll do our best to make something unique and delicious from it.

If we end up creating something worthy of sharing, it'll be a very limited release available only through our tasting room. We'll keep you posted, amigos...
